Old Atlanta Edits

Posted in Southern Media Mogul on January 8, 2010 by michaelbraud

These edits were filmed by John Wolff and edited by Ryan Jaegers. I really like them (maybe it’s because of that sweet Southern memory lane), so I thought maybe everyone else would too. These tricks were done anywhere from 2002-2004.

Check out all the other editions of Atlanta Rollerblading Edits by following the links under “Related Videos” on the right side of the page.

All of the clips in those edits can be found in “Rebounds” a video filmed and edited by John Wolff.

Chattanooga, TN

Posted in Southern Spot Check on January 7, 2010 by michaelbraud

Chattanooga, TN is where I grew up and learned to skate. It’s one of the best cities for blading this side of the Mason-Dixon Line. If you’re making a trip up or down I-75, be sure to make this a stop on your journey. When you make the stop, link up with someone from the local blade scene: Josh Hayes, Ray Kronenberg, Zach Leavell, Walker Fitzgerald, and Will Enzenauer.

Here are a couple of shots from Josh Hayes and Zach Leavell, two of Chattanooga’s up and coming photographers.

Josh Hayes – A/O Double Topside (Photo: Zach Leavell)

Ray Kronenberg – Fishbrain (Photo: Josh Hayes)

Zach Leavell – Handplant to Fakie (Photo: Josh Hayes)

Be sure to add them on Facebook (links are imbedded in the photos) and plan a trip to Chattanooga, TN on your next trip through The South.

Julian Bah Photo From LOW LIFE

I took this photo of Julian Bah with Nick Norton’s camera when Nick came through GA filming for his new film, “SHORT CHEAP FLICK“, a promo for Nick’s company Low Life. It is going to be completely shot on 16mm film. Definitely check out the site www.thenewhighlife.com to watch the trailer. It’s crispy.

Although I like this photo, I also photoshopped it to look a bit more conventional.

The photo originally appeared on the blog page of www.thenewhighlife.com.

Check out the blog for more photos from Nick’s exploits in and around The South.

Me (vs) The End of Carson Starnes’ Box

Couldn’t skate for about 2 weeks afterwards.

Luckily I had landed it about 10 times in a row before this happened.
